Cookies, anyone?
Mother Dearest baked plenty of these yummy treats for my early birthday gathering at home with all of my family. These delights didn’t last long, of course!

Unlike your usual Friday night, me and my sister, Charlene, decided to bake cookies - with a twist.
You’ll find two Filipino flags, a fried egg, a smiley face… and Charlene’s purple creature. -.-
It was a lot of fun! I never, ever, ever bake, and we just went crazy once we found the icing sugar and food colouring (as you can see)!
Baking these was all about team effort. Charlene did most of the baking itself, and I did most of the decorating. Of course, I did the washing up all by myself.
What’s the message?
Life is like a cookie. You can have it plain, boring and tasteless. The other option is to sweeten it up, add some colour, and get some family & friends to help you make it totally delicious.
I haven’t even eaten the cookies yet… I worked so hard to decorate them!
